Surprising lack of panic
The school’s being inspected by OFSTED next week and I’d expected to get back today to find at least some degree of panic. Instead there’s none at all.
Sure there’s a lot of work going on preparing lessons to make sure things go just right but no panic. This is I guess good news.
It’s all helped today at least by there being no kids in. I’d totally forgotten they weren’t going to be here until tomorrow. When I arrived this morning I thought for a moment that it must be a Sunday. Not helped by having very little sleep last night. The dustbin men turned up at 5am just after I’d fallen asleep (or so it seemed). Ho hum.
